As a flocculant, CloudClear works by binding microscopic debris, organic waste and suspended particles together into larger masses that can be trapped and removed by the aquarium filter. This process rapidly clears turbidity while helping improve overall water quality throughout the system.
However, CloudClear is far more than a cosmetic clarifier. The active components also help reduce residues left behind from medication treatments, while assisting with the removal of heavy metals, chlorine, chloramines, ammonium and organic pollutants that can negatively affect aquarium stability.
By improving water quality, CloudClear also helps reduce stress on fish. Poor water conditions can irritate the mucous membrane and leave fish more susceptible to disease and bacterial infections.
